QQC

QQC#1
Q:"what do we feel? Is it the end of your mental conscious?

Q:What do you feel when you die? Do you just go on and never feel again?

C: I chose this because I can relate to this character in this passage. What do you feel when you die? and what is it going to be like? This really got my attention when the author started talking about this and I couldn't put the book down because I wanted to know what the character thought of death.

QQC#2
Q:
"they lacked the modern industry to support its war effort and didn't have an adequate railroad system to get supplies to the front" (http://depts.washington.edu/baltic/papers/russianrevolution.htm)

Q: Did this cause mayhem when they needed to ship money, food, and water to people across the country?

C: If people could not get food during this time, it would get ugly and many people would revolt because of this. It would make sense if a reason for the revolution was because of this. People want the best for there country and they aren't getting that with the government they have now.

Bibliography

"Russian Revolution of 1917." World Book Student. 2009. San Diego

I found this on the SDPL website and it was very helpful. Not only did it give info on the Russian Revolution but also on WWI. The whole article was full of details and it has definitely helped me understand more about the Russian Revolution.

Story so far...

The book I'm reading is Dr. Zhivago. This story takes place during the Russian Revolution. This revolution transformed the Russian state from Tsarist Autocracy to the Soviet Union.

This book is about a boy named Yuru Zhivago. It starts off on a cold and rainy day, with his mother in a coffin. Yuru finds out that his father had spent all his families fortune. When Yuru's mother dies and things start going downhill for Zhivago. It then goes to a totally different family and talks about her life.

The story so far has been really interesting. At times it gets really boring but all of the sudden it gets really exciting. Right now I just finished the Christmas party and I can tell you, it was the best chapter so far.

Research Question: Why does the author go from one main characters life to the other? When will he bring the characters together?
